Texas (HATT) is a local public housing agency that provides safe, decent, and quality affordable housing and supportive services to eligible persons with limited incomes, through a variety of federal, state, local and private resources.
Created in 1940, the Housing Authority
provides over 1,000 units of affordable rental
housing for Texarkana and surrounding communities.

hud releases 2013 Income limits - now in effect
Dec. 4, 2012 — The U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) today
released
income limits for
fiscal year (FY) 2013. These are
used to determine income eligibility for HUD’s
assisted housing programs, including public
housing, Section 8, Section 202 and Section 811.
Income limits that are used to determine
qualification levels and to set maximum rental
rates for low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) or
tax-exempt bond projects, which HUD refers to as
Multifamily Tax Subsidy Projects (MTSPs), are
calculated and presented separately from the
Section 8 income limits.
Local Texarkana MSA (Metropolitan Statistical
Area) Limits have also
been updated for all HATT
programs.

for Fiscal Year (FY) 2013. The Plan is
available for public reading here on HATT's
website and at HATT's main office located at
1611 N. Robison Rd., Texarkana TX 75501.
