Housing Authority Introduces New Agency Brand

TEXARKANA, Texas - The Housing Authority of the City of Texarkana, Texas (HATT) is transitioning to a new agency brand, Village Communities of Texarkana, Texas (VCTT).

The new Village Communities of Texarkana, Texas brand continues the HATT's tradition of representing the agency's commitment to community and housing.

Using tints and shades of the primary blue originally introduced with the HATT brand, the new VCTT icon represents inclusivity, diversity, and trustworthiness with a non-institutional, modern community feel.

The logo font was carefully chosen to evoke forward thinking and stability while maintaining a welcoming and friendly quality.

The VCTT brand complements an established branding system that identifies the agency's corporations and nonprofit entities.

"The affordable housing industry is transitioning toward a broader scope of housing opportunities. Rebranding our agency sets us apart from the competition and creates a memorable impression in a competitive housing marketplace. The transition to the Village Communities brand will occur over the next few months, allowing our team to complete the necessary changes to reflect our enhanced vision for the agency," explained Antonio D. Williams, Chief Executive Officer.

The agency's legal name will remain The Housing Authority of the City of Texarkana, Texas but will conduct business as Village Communities of Texarkana, Texas, going forward.

The VCTT logo brand was produced by creative agency Brooks Jeffrey Marketing, Inc., an award-winning national firm serving affordable housing agencies.

Established in 1984, Brooks Jeffrey provides integrated marketing solutions: advertising, branding, photography, public relations, promotional items, websites, apps, and social media campaigns to businesses, government entities, and nonprofits throughout the nation.
