All classes are free.

Students must pay for testing fees associated with GED practice and official exams. 

Enrollment Procedures:

1. Contact the Texarkana Campus at 903.823.3461 to sign-up for an orientation session (offered every two weeks).

2. Meet eligibility requirements for the program and provide all documentation required before the orientation session.

TxCHSE Students (Students seeking Texas High School Equivalency)

  • Cannot be enrolled in high school
  • 16-year-olds must have a court order and a parent/guardian signature; 17-18 year-olds must have an official withdrawal from the last school attended and a parent/guardian signature)

College Preparation Students

  • College Student TSIA testing at ABE levels 1-4, TABE below 9th-grade reading; TEASV Overall below 60%, Reading below 69%, Science below 45%

ESL Students

  • Cannot be enrolled in high school

3. Attend orientation session (enrollment packet, program overview, and assessment).

4. Begin classes at the designated day/time.
